Its name is Assyria
Assyria - News, Preview

The next game in the Ystari Games line is born. It is Assyria, designed by Emanuele Ornella, an italian designer who is not at his first game. Arnaud Demaegd is taking care of illustrations.
So how is it going to be like? In a few words, you will play a tribe of nomads in the desert of Mesopotamia. The aim is to develop and move towards the attractive areas located between the two rivers. You will try to collect the ressources which are necessary for the survival of key-villages. Of course the good spaces are coveted and the opponents’ tribes will want to block you. This game is faster and a little more simple than Caylus or Amyitis.
Assyria will be available for the Essen fair, that is, in October.

Am interested in this game. The name (Assyria) more than anything has an appeal to me as I enjoy ancients, and anything biblical.

I appreciate the games of Mr. Ornella. Il Principe is stll one of my favorites, not to forget Oltemare and his last output Hermagor, which offers a very interesting market system. So, he is used to create good games and I can’t wait to play Assyria
